  • How will a blended learning model improve student experience?
    In the past decade, communication technologies and effective learning management tools have led to an explosion of online learning for both academic and training purposes.
    The introduction of new learning approaches such as online and mobile learning and new generation learning spaces are challenging traditional methods of learning and changing the way students are interacting and learning in educational environments.
    However, it has been argued that the integration of online learning environments in academia could be detrimental to effectiveness of teaching by institutions. Due to this, a blended learning model has emerged – blending physical and virtual environments.
    While many learning institutions are incorporating a blended learning model into their teaching strategy, the term is still relatively new therefore leaving many to question how the mixing of online and mobile learning with face to face interaction will actually improve student experience now and in the long term.
    Technology IQ recently interviewed key industry professionals to discover what blended learning actually is, the impact of Blended Learning in the current educational environment and how it will improve and enhance student experience .
